One of the many benefits of Aloe is the rapid growth of this useful plant. So, there is always a sufficient number of lower leaves that we could use to make aloe vera gel at home.
How To Get A Natural Aloe Vera Gel
Use the inside of the leaf, which separates after split. Cut the lower leaves of the plant, wash them and place at an angle of 45 degrees. Let it drain all yellow liquid.
This yellow liquid is not for everyone – this is a very strong laxative, and some people can spend the whole day in the toilet.
If the leaves of aloe vera are hard – it is a good sign that the plant is healthy.
To obtain aloe gel the age of the plant should be at least 2-3 years (preferably more than 3 years).
When the liquid drain, cut the edges of the leaves of 5cm – that part which is not required.
Then remove the skin with a sharp knife from the top and bottom of the leaf. If the leaf is large, pre-cut into several segments.
Natural aloe gel has a slightly bitter taste, but it’s nice to take at least a teaspoon of it immediately after receiving – it is very beneficial for healthy teeth and clean mouth.
You can use pure aloe vera gel, but also can be mixed with other ingredients.
